IMPORTANT DATES & TIMES
REGISTRATION: Registration will take place on Saturday 18th December at Brandvlei Prison (Worcester). All athletes must register on this day as no registration will be possible on the Sunday morning. Athletes who do not register will not be permitted to race as their registration packs contain important race requirements. Athletes are permitted to ask someone else to register on their behalf, but must take responsibility for collecting the race packs themselves. RACE BRIEFING: Race briefing will take place at Brandvlei Prison at 14:00. The race briefing will be uploaded to the website, but it is recommended that athletes attend briefing. Remember that it is the athlete's responsibility to know the route (escape plan) and rules prior to the race. START TIMES: Escape from Maximum Security - 07:00 Escape from Minimum Security - 08:00 BIKE RACKING: Bike racking will take place on the 19th December and all bikes need to be racked by 06:30. We are working on allowing the Minimum escapees to rack later, but be prepared to arrive early as a single transition means that access has to be restricted when the Maximum Escape starts. CUT OFF TIMES: Maximum Security: Start time @ 07:00 Swim cut off @ 08:30 Bike cut off @ 14:00 Finish cut off @ 17:00 Minimum Security: Start @ 08:00 Swim cut off @ 09:00 Bike cut off @ 12:30 Finish cut off @ 14:00
